In case you were wondering what this was all about...

So what is a Mini Baja?

The Mini Baja competition is sanctioned, organized, and administered by the Society of Automotive Engineers. Working within strict design constraints, teams from around the world design, construct, and drive small dune-buggy-esque racers around a dirt course. Each vehicle uses an identical 10hp Briggs and Stratton engine. The teams are judged in design, cost analysis, endurance, acceleration, and rock crawling. Using engineering ingenuity and expertise, teams develop their mini baja vehicles to compete in each of these competitions. Things break, people get covered in mud, cars flip over, and we get to go fast... what could be more fun than this?
